Very cute and very good spot in the heart of Chinatown. Very quiet on a Friday lunch.
Beef donburi was very good - beef was melting, amazing. Pork Katsu was very good. They also a gluten free menu and the salmon was abundant and tasty, really good value overall and they brought gluten free soy sauce. Only negative note is that Edamame was slightly overcooked.

I have to say, the unassuming decor/ambience here really belied how delicious the food was. I ordered the large pork katsu curry rice, which similarly looks plain but was unexpectedly good. The katsu itself had really tender meat with a nicely crispy exterior without being too oily. The curry had a lovely, rich flavour that complemented the katsu and rice well.

Price point was fantastic — I’d love to come again to try some of their yummy curry and noodle options.

Came here with my partner on boxing day and it was super busy but the waitresses were great! Great service and the atmosphere was nice (so was the food and drinks) and the prices are really good for the area.
The only thing I would recommend is a quicker card machine as it took as a while to be able to pay.

Such a great experience dining here! The staff are super attentive, friendly, and overall a great vibe in this restraurant. We also had dishes for £12 which was such a bargain in the area. The Chinese New Year dragon festival also came in and left lettuce everywhere which was so funny. A great way to celebrate to the start of the year!

A Japanese restaurant in Chinatown. There are only a few tables — it’s quite small but busy. We were lucky to get a table right away, though it was a Wednesday. I ordered the Donburi and my friend got the Katsu. He didn’t like his Katsu much, so I wouldn’t really recommend it, but my Donburi was nice and flavorful. I wouldn’t say it’s cheaper than other restaurants, but it’s reasonably priced for a quick meal.
