Have been here many times before, the restaurant itself is still the same but the menu has changed and is a bit more pricey! The portions are still big, the miso soup still delicious, the service still friendly. Overall we had a nice time.
One problem is that we ordered jasmine tea for both of us, and it comes in a pot, but they charged us 85p for another cup. Which I think is a bit cheeky. It's a pot of tea, we should be able to share it and not pay extra 😅
Similar to one of the previous reviewers, I have dined here in the past and it had always been a really affordable place for a quick bite. Like everywhere else, unfortunately, the price had jumped up.
I still enjoyed the udon noodle and soup though.
Popped in here for dinner before the theatre. I was left somewhat disappointed. Unfortunately, my experience with the food was that it was all sort of the same. The sushi did not taste fresh, the dumplings tasted the same as the rice, the katsu chicken was hard and dry.
I must also say the restaurant felt quite outdated and could see it needed a touch up. Here and there.
The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive and helpful.
Great place, good food - extremely filling! Worth a visit! Place is slightly on the smaller side but it allows for a quieter atmosphere. Overall 5 stars!
Very close to Chinatown. Next to Legoshop. A small restaurant only around 20seats. Provided learning chopsticks for child.(Good) Food also look like Japanese style. Recommend to visit.
